Description:
Porcelain Tile Fix is cement based high quality, polymer modified, ready mixed, flexible, thin set tile adhesive mortar in powder form.
Porcelain Tile Fix requiresthe addition of water on site. Porcelain Tile Fix is ideal for fixing floors and wall tiles especially in submerged areas such as swimming pools, water tanks, kitchens, bathrooms, shower rooms and where heavy traffic is present in private and public buildings. Porcelain Tile Fix is suitable for fixing marble, porcelain, ceramic and mosaic tiles, thin bricks up to 50 kg/ m2 weight.
The suitable substrates are concrete, cement base plastered walls and floor screeds, gypsum, cement plaster boards, block walls and light weight blocks. For extreme conditions. Porcelain Tile Fix can also be used for fixing new tiles on old glazed ceramic walls and floors tiles.floors tiles. Suitable for fixing large tiles

Surface Preparation
Cement based walls and screeds should be left to cure for at least 14 days prior to application of Porcelain Tile Fix.
Rough or uneven concrete surfaces should be made flat and smooth. All substrates should be in a good and strong condition. All substrates should also be clean and free from any loose particles, dust, oil, grease, the curing agents, or paint. Tiles to be fixed should be clean and free from any surface contamination. If the surface is dry and in hot weather, pre-wet prior to the application of Porcelain Tile Fix without leaving excess water.
Application procedures
Application procedures
-The whole contents of the bag should be mixed together with water, in one container using a hand drill equipped with a mixing blade or high shear stationary mixer.
-Partial small amounts may be mixed manually, with a trowel, or other suitable hand mixing tools.
-Add 5.5 - 6.5 liters of fresh, cool, clean water in one deep container. Then, add the contents of the 20 kg bag gradually while mixing till the mixture is uniform and free of lumps. Leave the mixed material for 10 minutes and remix for one minute.
-Porcelain Tile Fix should be applied while the mortar is fresh and workable (within Pot Life).
Apply Porcelain Tile Fix to the prepared surface using the flat side of the trowel while pressing firmly into the prepared substrate.
-Use suitable notched trowel to ensure full bedding of the tile with 2 – 3 mm minimum uniform thickness.
-Spread Porcelain Tile Fix in areas not more than 1.0 m2.
-Press tiles firmly into place and gently adjust the level by twisting slightly within 15 minutes ensuring proper transfer of 85% of the mortar to the back of the tiles.
-Leave tiles to dry for at least 24 hours before starting grouting. Use Tile Grout according to joint width.
Composition
Porcelain Tile Fix is manufactured from carefully selected raw materials which include a blend of special high strength hydraulic binders, selected well graded fillers, and special additives to enhance workability and bonding characteristics.

Porcelain Tile Fix is formulated to comply with ANSI 118.4 and EN 12004 standards.

Important Notes
- Do not apply Porcelain Tile Fix on movement joints or on dynamic cracked plastered walls. Expansion joints should be included as per the substrate design and carried out through .tiles applications.
- Using cold water for mixing allows longer pot life and improved workability.
- Use Porcelain Tile Fix White when fixing white or light color stone.
- Porous surfaces such as gypsum plaster boards should be sealed prior to tile installation using Porcelain Tile Fix.
- Do not apply Porcelain Tile Fix on metal surfaces. Use plastic spacers to leave the required joint width around each tile according to pattern and architecture recommendations.
- Leave 2mm minimum joint width around tiles.
Storage
Shelf life is 12 months from manufacturing date, in a dry covered storage area.
Health and Safety
While using the product, gloves and goggles should be worn. Splashes to skin or eyes should be washed with clean water, in case of prolonged irritation, seek medical advice.
- الرخام منتج طبيعي واختلاف الألوان والعروق فيه وارد وتنسيق الألوان فيه مسؤولية معلم التركيب .
- يجب التأكد من جميع القطع قبل التركيب من ناحية اللون والمقاس .
- لا يحق المطالبة مهما كان العيب بعد تركيب البضاعة .
- نوصي المشتري بأخذ كمية 7% زيادة وذلك خوفا من نفاذ الكمية في ما بعد أو وصول بضاعة جديدة مختلفة في اللون والمقاس .
- ينصح باستخدام نوع غراء وترويبه من نوعية جيدة ونظيفة .
حساب كمية البلاط لغرفة لابد من معرفة
1) حساب مساحة الغرف (الطول*العرض)
2) تحديد أبعاد البلاطة المستخدمة
3) الكمية المطلوبة من السيراميك = مساحة الغرفة تقسيم مساحة البلاطة الواحدة
مع اخذ في الاعتبار زيادة ما بين 10% إلى 20% لتجنب النقص في عمليات القص و التكسير
حساب كميات السيراميك المطلوبة للحمامات و المطابخ:
حيث تختلف طريقة حساب الغرف عن حساب الحمامات والمطابخ لان في هذه الحالة يتم حساب الجدران كالاتي:-
الجدار الأول = العرض * الارتفاع
وكذلك الثاني والثالث والرابع ..
ثم يتم قسمة مجموع ناتج الجدران على مساحة البلاطة الواحدة وذلك في حاله اختلاف حجم بلاط الجدران عن بلاط الأرضيات.
كيفية حساب الوزرة ( السيكلو ):
ما هي الوزرة و ما أهميتها و أسباب استخدامها
وزرة الأرض : عبارة عن شريط من البلاط و هو الذي يتحكم في مدي تجانس الأرضيات مع الجدران ، فالاختيار الجيد للوزرات يبرز لون الحائط والأرضية ويضفي لمسة من الرقي والذوق، وتعدد أشكالها وألوانها يعطي فرصة كبيرة للتحكم في مساحة المكان لأنها تفصل بين الأرضيات و الجدران فمثلا الوزرات العريضة ذات الألوان الفاتحة تعطي احساس بالوسع في المساحات الضيقة والوزرات الداكنة المكتنزة تعطي إحساس بالدفيء في الأماكن الواسعة و قد تكون ذات أشكال مختلفة سادة أو منقوشه أو نفس بلاط الأرضيات
طرق حساب الوزر المختلفة:
يعتمد حساب الوزر على حجم السيراميك حيث أن ارتفاع الوزرة الواحدة يكون 10 سم فمثلا لحساب الوزر لسيراميك مقاس 40x40 يكون كالاتي:
إذا كان ارتفاع الوزرة 10 سم و البلاط 40x40 سيعطينا 4 قطع كل قطعة حوالي 40 سم عرضها أي أن البلاطة الواحدة ستعطينا 160 سم اي 1.60 متر و بوجود حساب المساحة الكلية للمكان مسبقا فيتم تقسيم الكلية للغرفة علي 1.60 متر
مثال غرفه مساحتها 12 متر يكون 12/1.60=7.5 وبما أن السيراميك في البلاطة مقاس 40*40 (6 بلاطات تساوي 1.20) أي أن الغرفة تحتاج الى 2 متر بالكثير من السيراميك كوزره
وبنفس الطريقة نحسب إذا كان البلاط 60*60 أو أي أبعاد خري
بعض الملاحظات يجب الأخذ بها عند حساب كميات السيراميك :
الانتباه عند حساب الكميات الي الألوان فهناك مثلا جدران تحتوي على لونين مختلفين من السيراميك و يمكن أيضا أن تحتوي علي بلاطه مختلفة و تسمي بلاطه ديكور فيتم حساب الكمية على نسبة اللون مثلا النص أو تلت وتلتين وهكذا
وايضا في الأرضيات فيجب علينا الانتباه لعملية الحساب
