Calculating the amount of tiles for a room must be known
1) Calculate the area of the rooms (length * width)
2) Determine the dimensions of the slab used.
3) The required quantity of ceramic tiles = the area of the room divided by the area of one tile
Taking into account an increase of 10% to 20% to avoid shortages in cutting and crushing operations.
Calculating the quantities of ceramic tiles required for bathrooms and kitchens:
The method of calculating rooms differs from calculating bathrooms and kitchens, because in this case the walls are calculated as follows:
First wall = width * height
And the second, third and fourth as well..
Then the total result of the walls is divided by the area of each tile in case the size of the wall tiles is different from the size of the floor tiles.
How to calculate the weight (cyclo):
What is the ministry, what is its importance and reasons for using it?
Floor skirting: It is a strip of tiles that controls the degree of harmony between the floors and the walls. A good choice of skirting highlights the color of the wall and the floor and adds a touch of elegance and taste. The variety of its shapes and colors gives a great opportunity to control the space of the place because it separates the floors from the walls. For example, wide skirting boards with light colors give a sense of spaciousness in narrow spaces, and dark, chunky skirting boards give a sense of warmth in wide spaces. They may have different shapes, plain, patterned, or the same as the floor tiles.
Different methods of calculating the burden:
The weight calculation depends on the size of the ceramic tile, as the height of one tile is 10 cm. For example, to calculate the weight for a 40x40 tile, it is as follows:
If the height of the skirting board is 10 cm and the tiles are 40x40, this will give us 4 pieces, each piece is about 40 cm wide, meaning that one tile will give us 160 cm, or 1.60 meters. Having calculated the total area of the place in advance, the total area of the room is divided by 1.60 meters.
Example: A room with an area of 12 square meters would be 12/1.60=7.5. Since the ceramic tiles in the tile are 40*40 (6 tiles equal 1.20), the room needs 2 square meters with a lot of ceramic tiles like this.
In the same way, we calculate if the tile is 60*60 or any other dimensions.
Some notes to take into account when calculating ceramic quantities:
Pay attention to the colors when calculating quantities. For example, there are walls that contain two different colors of ceramic, and they can also contain different tiles, called decorative tiles. The quantity is calculated based on the percentage of the color, for example, half, or one-third and two-thirds, and so on.
Also in the floors we must pay attention to the calculation process.
